Yoga is not only the practice of moving your body; it is the practice of knowing your body, in a kinder more compassionate way. Sometimes you get so carried away with all of the tasks that need to be done, the people demanding attention, accomplishments waiting to happen; you are pulled in so many different directions, you forget to devote time to the one person without which none of your life can happen: YOU. Yoga is the opportunity to let the rest of the world fade into the background as you reconnect with yourself. And what greater gift can you give the world than a more joyful, present, and empowered version of you?
